resolvedin for regarding a year, they initially didn't fondness the bathrooms, but resolved against modernization them. They're ideally functional, also they desired to put their modernization cash toward something they'd enjoy additional, equal lightening the walls with kitchen countertops. Warm present–day forms plus neutral colors form the middle aesthetic, interspersed with generous pops of tone, expertly—arranged ornamental groupings , as well playful designs. notwithstanding her ornamenting prowess, Cristina is firmly purpose oriented – unless a bit has a tale beyond it, it should be functional. She's not attention in decorate's that don't serve a function, flat if that's just to prompt herself in conjunction with Paul of the travel they took toward discovering this house. #x22;After so much penetrating, we establish a location that is ours, to ornament as we please.“

When she plus her husband purchase their 1930s English cottage–fashion house this summer, they knew the kitchen would require an modernize. The lesson I’ve learned from this Before & After is that if formal dining isn’t your thing, you can turn your dining room into an awesome home library — that’s a valuable lesson in my book. Jennifer enlisted the help of her friend, interior designer Autumn Clemons, to revamp this beige box and turn it into a dark, dramatic and ultra-modern space. Splurging on key pieces like the curtains and the sculptural light fixture was a wise decision; they really stand out and pull the entire look together. I’m sure this room will see far more use than it did prior to the redesign. Great job, Jennifer and Autumn!
This dining room used to be a part of the garage that [the Samartans] had converted to add more livable square footage to their home and I was brought onto the project to bring life into the space. First thing was first, deciding on what this room would be. We tinkered with the idea of a sitting room, but since they already had a living room in the home, Stacia and Phil wanted a space that would be more useful, so we decided that a formal dining room would be the best decision
My advice is don’t get unmotivated because you have a small space! You can do anything, just put your mind to it! There is tons of inspiration on the web, soak it all in and come up with your own unique space!
I was inspired by the architecture of the home as well as the amazing weather in Southern California. Cliff May homes are known for their relationship to the outdoors, so I wanted to showcase the connection between the interior and exterior, hence the sunny chartreuse walls and landscape green sofa. The original flooring was concrete and my clients wanted something new that was unique but durable (they have a dog, two cats and a baby on the way). We ended up with a porcelain tile that looks like wood flooring, super durable and wallet friendly. We wallpapered two walls with a colorful, graphic pattern that is very impactful upon entry. It was the perfect backdrop for a custom designed sectional sofa to serve as banquette seating for the organic, modern dining table. The vintage side chairs and light fixture belonged to the client and fit in perfectly with the new furnishings. This space showcases the couples’s casual but stylish lifestyle and I just love how this space came together!
Last month I decided to live out my dining room fantasy by rounding up 25 of my favorite dining rooms with round tables, and today I’m finishing with the rest! These 30 dining rooms show how beautiful (and dramatic) square and rectangular tables can be, and all of the different ways you can decorate and light them. If you’re looking for dining room ideas, this post will definitely keep you busy for a while. I hope you enjoy it! xo, grace
We do not believe that your color choice should dictate the style of the powder room, but there is little doubt that orange puts on its best show in inviting Mediterranean bathrooms. Warmth, textural beauty and color are inherent parts of this style, and orange seems to perfectly capture all of these elements. While various shades of yellow can accomplish the same, orange takes the idea of Mediterranean-inspired opulence to a whole new level. If you are looking to wow your guests with a dramatic powder room, this is the color for you.
i’m a big fan of wallpaper accent walls and this dining room from rebekah at orange poppy is a great example. just a few hours of pasting and hanging and you’re left with a wall full of color and pattern. i love the new blue and green palette rebekah decided to go with- especially that blue hutch. so cute. click here to check out rebekah’s shop and here to check out her blog.
